“It's fantastic to get such a complex and nuanced drink in the glass completely without alcohol. Ambijus is a great alternative when you can't or don't want to drink wine.”

    Lise Aanes, Wine journalist

“Ambijus makes some of the absolute best in alcohol-free drinks that can go well with food. Fantastic Nordic flavor profile.”

We experience Ambijus as a full-fledged alternative to wine - both with and without food. The Ambijus selection combines freshness and complexity both in terms of aroma and taste, in an aesthetically appealing package

"Ambijus makes serious products with a clear focus on detail. As a wine alternative, it is both interesting and well-balanced – in a world where too many options are unfortunately overly sweet and lacking in character."

Erlend Lehland, Restaurant manager & Sommelier, Hot Shop

Our focus is on complexity, unique compositions and that the drinks should go well alone or with various food.

Ambijus is not wine – it has no appellation, no terroir. In our case, the "lab" is our terroir.

It is where we explore flavors, interpret the character of the ingredients and combine them in new ways through fermentation, infusions, cold brewing, distillation and more.

The Lab is our Terroir.

With ingredients such as Hardanger apples, fermented tea, spruce tips, lingonberries, wild blueberries, sea buckthorn, oak, pears, angelica root, elderflower, and sea salt, Ambijus offers fruity notes, tannins, spices, and a hint of funk. Every drop is a taste journey inspired by Norwegian nature, produced in Sollihøgda.
